Cookies

This site uses cookies, including third-party cookies. By continuing to browse the site or closing the brief banner present on all pages (or clicking on any element of it), you consent to the use of cookies. Below is an explanation of what cookies are and how to deny consent to all or some of them.

Cookies are short text files that are downloaded to the User’s device when visiting a website. On subsequent visits, cookies are sent back to the website that generated them (first-party cookies) or to another site that recognizes them (third-party cookies). Cookies are useful because they allow a website to recognize the User’s device. They serve various purposes, such as enabling efficient navigation between pages, remembering preferred sites, and generally improving the browsing experience. They also ensure that the online advertising content is more relevant to the user’s interests. Based on their function and purpose, cookies can be classified as technical cookies, profiling cookies, and third-party cookies.

Please note that most web browsers are set by default to automatically accept cookies. Visitors/users can modify the default settings. However, as mentioned above, disabling or deleting cookies may prevent optimal use of certain areas of the site or impair the use of services under authentication. Many of the cookies used are automatically deleted from the customer’s hard drive at the end of each browsing session (hence the name “session cookies”). However, some cookies remain on the hard drive. Their duration is quite long (a few years) for practical reasons. After the first visit to the site, the system will recognize on each subsequent visit that the Customer has previously visited the site and will retrieve the Customer’s preferred requests and data (long-lasting cookies). These cookies will allow the Customer not to have to re-enter their password or fill out forms at every new access. Cookies can also be disabled by selecting the corresponding parameters in the browser’s specific options. However, by doing so, the Customer will not be able to fully utilize certain features of the site.

Additionally, cookies can be either first-party cookies (used, for example, to track the number of pages visited within the site) or third-party cookies (generated by other sites to deliver content on the site being visited). This site may use anonymous third-party cookies to manage the dynamic and advanced delivery of advertising messages. Most browsers allow users to block third-party cookies while accepting only first-party cookies. Furthermore, some companies that generate cookies on third-party sites offer the option to deactivate or block their cookies in a simple and immediate manner, even if these cookies are anonymous and do not involve the recording of personally identifiable data (such as an IP address).
